Dağsan’s Journey – A Family Story Passed Down Through Generations

It all began on the dusty roads of Gaziantep, behind a humble horse-drawn cart. While carrying loads, our grandfathers were in fact transporting more than just goods — they carried sweat, effort, and trust. Back then, perhaps no one knew, but that small step marked the very first line of a journey that would span more than half a century.

By 1974, with the vision of our elders, Dağsan Nakliyat Kollektif was founded. What began with just a few trucks quickly grew; with 1950s–60s model vehicles, long roads were crossed and all kinds of freight were transported — from dry cargo to chemicals. We were not only carrying loads, but also supporting the commerce of Gaziantep.

Our very first 50,000 m² facility was more than just a site — it became the home of our dreams. With the determination that rose from here, Dağsan grew beyond being a mere transportation company and stepped into different fields of industry. By recognizing the needs of the cleaning sector, Tidaş Kimya was established, followed by Akınsan Kimya, Dağcı Halat, and ŞenPlast. Each of them flourished like a mighty plane tree, rooted in the same soil yet growing strong in their own branches.

Today, Dağsan continues its expertise in chemical transportation while also maintaining a strong presence in the fields of chemicals and cleaning products, standing as one of the most trusted brands in the industry. Over this journey spanning more than half a century, the story that began with a horse cart has been carried into the future with trust, hard work, and the strength of family.
